We prepare our graduates for state licensing and careers in their chosen field. Well-trained professionals in the cosmetology arts and sciences are always in demand.

• Cosmetology is the study of hair, skin and nails. Haircuts, hairstyles, hair colors, permanents and relaxers are the foundation of the hairdresser’s training. They are also trained to care for the skin, makeup and nails.
• Esthetics is the study of skin and makeup. Professionals in this area provide facials, body treatments and body waxing services. Microdermabrasion training is new to our program.
• Massage Therapy is the study of the body and to enhance its physical well-being through hands on treatment. (Offered only at the Iowa academy.)
