$49Geriatrics “Massage for the Older Adult” will cover varieties of topics in when massaging older adults. Topics covered: Elder Care, Palliative Care, & Hospice Care. We will cover contraindications, pathologies, and how to adapt your massage to bring health and wellness to this valued population. This class is for licensed massage therapists.
Teresa Sullivan has 5 years’ experience working in Assisted Living and Long-Term Care as an activity director. She has trained as a death doula and with hospice organizations. She is currently a massage therapy educator at PCI Academy in Iowa City, Iowa.
